Why one should visit BHUTAN !!!

Posted on: 27/11/2017

Today when every nation is concerned about their GDP i.e Gross Domestic Product, Bhutan is the only country to whom it hardly matters. For them what matters is GNH i.e Gross Nation Happiness.

Since 1971, the country has rejected GDP as the only way to measure progress. In its place, it has championed a new approach to development, which measures prosperity through formal principles of gross national happiness (GNH) and the spiritual, physical, social and environmental health of its citizens and natural environment. Isn't that cool ???

There are so many things which will make you amazed !!!

Do you know guys, Despite of poverty Bhutan Government provides its residents free Healthcare & Education.

Bhutan & India are very close friends of each other. This really reflects in Bhutanese Policy as well. All foreign tourists have to pay a minimum fee of $250 per day to visit Bhutan except India, Bangladesh & Maldives. All the Roads are constructed with the help of BRO (Border Road Organisation). You will be surprised to see road conditions even at such high altitude !!! BRO has done excellent Job!!! India even provides military help to Bhutan.

Imagine guys if you have your personalised stamp which is used officially in Country!!! Isn't that cool but seems to be unrealistic... But not in BHUTAN!!! You can have your personalised stamp at National Post Office in Thimphu which is then used Officially!!!

All of us love our Nature.. Every one of us tries to protect our mother nature with maximum efforts. Bhutan is a country where people are very serious about Protection & Preservation of their Forests. They have made some rules in their constitution to maintain the greenery of country. Not just that but they have very strict laws if anyone tries to kill endangered species like Black Necked Crane.

The Capital city of Thimphu is the only city in the world without traffic lights. Instead they use men in white gloves.. Bhutan is the only country to outlaw Tobacco & Plastic Bags. Although Thimphu is the biggest and busiest city of Bhutan you can call it the most pleasant capital in world.
